Part Seasoned Local Hard Wood

Mixed local hard wood Oak, Ash, Beech and Sycamore, minimum of two cubic metres, this is due to a change in law on the 26th March 2021. This wood is loose and will be tipped on your drive, we can not tip on public areas.

Part seasoned wood is not suitable for burning until it has been dried and has a moisture content of 20% or less.  Therefore this needs to be stacked and dried. Wet wood contains moisture which creates smoke and harmful particulates when burnt. As well as being harmful to your health and the environment, it can damage your stove and chimney and is an inefficient way to heat your home.
